McCloud Webinars
Active and deferred members who will be affected by the McCloud remedy are being invited to attend a free online webinar.
The McCloud remedy impacts those who were paying into the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) or any public sector pension scheme before 1 April 2012, and who were still paying into the LGPS between 1 April 2015 and 31 March 2022.
The webinar aims to provide an overview of what the McCloud remedy is and its implications.
The webinar will run on various dates from March to May 2025 and is delivered by the LGPC in conjunction with Affinity Connect, a retirement specialist covering the public sector.
The webinar will cover:
- how the LGPS works now
- how your LGPS pension built up in the final salary scheme before 1 April 2015
- how the McCloud remedy might affect you.
