Enquiry type: Retirement

Quick Tip

If you are currently paying into the pension fund, and are retiring, you should first inform your employer and confirm your leaving date with them. Once you have confirmed your retirement date, you can let us know when this will be and we can issue your retirement options.

If you have already left, and are looking to take payment of your pension, please contact us.

Information on different types of retirement, early retirement reductions and more can be found within the Active Members area, for those still paying in, or the Deferred members area, for those who have stopped their contributions.

If you are looking to change contact or bank details, these can be updated by logging into your My Pension+ account. Please note that we cannot change your bank details over the phone. Alternatively for name or relationship changes, please complete and submit a contact form.

In these circumstances, we should be contacted as soon as possible. Please submit a contact form and include the follow details; the member’s full name, National Insurance number, date of death and next of kin details.

Quick Tip

If you are planning to retire or take your pension, you can use My Pension+ to get an estimate of your pension. With the calculator you can see how much pension you would get and also see how swapping pension for lump sum impacts its value.

Or if you want a quote from us, please provide an exact date for when you would like to take payment. Be aware that estimates can take up to 6 weeks to provide.
