Deferred Members Transfer Estimate Available on My Pension
The Fund has recently launched a new feature on its member self-service portal, My Pension, which allows deferred members to explore the option of transferring their pension out of the NESPF to an alternative scheme.
The “Explore my Transfer Options” feature can be found under Pension Benefits on the My Pension dashboard and offers deferred members the ability to view a transfer estimate if they were to move to a personal or private scheme outside of the Public Sector Transfer Club. An estimated transfer value breakdown will also be provided which can be given to a financial advisor to action further if required.
A reminder that if you are transferring into a Defined Contribution scheme and the value of your benefits is over £30,000, you are legally required to seek financial advice before transferring out of the scheme.
