Active members are those who are currently paying into the Pension Scheme. This area is dedicated to active members and covers areas such as contributions, retirement, death in service, leaving the Scheme and divorce.

Changes to late retirement increases

When members retire and take their pension after their Normal Pension Age, their pension is increased for late payment. The method and factors used to calculate the increase changed on 1 October 2019. No member will be worse off as a result of these changes

Annual Benefit Statements 2019

Online Annual Benefit statements were issued to all active members on 12 August 2019 via My Pension. Members should register or login to view their statement. Alternatively if you wish for a paper copy of your statement, please contact the Pension Fund.

New Contribution Rates 2019/20

New contribution rates for members have been set for 2019/20. You can view the revised rates on the contributions page. If your contribution rate changes, your employer will notify you.

Retirement from 55

Most members can now take their pension from age 55. There are some Pension Credit members who cannot take their pension before age 60 but more information on the changes can be found here.
